Directorate of Town & Country Planning (DTCP) and Madhya Pradesh Vikas Pradhikaran Sangh (MPVPS), Government of Madhya Pradesh is planning to develop GIS database for the State of Madhya Pradesh and deploy a customized Web GIS application for distribution of GIS data to support their decision making processes and issuance of digitally signed certificates online.

The major activities of the department to be supported by the system are as follows:

• Issuance of digitally signed landuse certificates and facility for citizens to apply for landuse certificates online and payment of fees through secured payment gateway
• Support for approval for layout plan/ planning permissions as per Development Plan guidelines
• Support for approval for various projects in city etc. as per Development Plan guidelines
• Secured updating of spatial and attribute information

To meet these specific requirements and to make their decision making processes efficient and effective, DTCP/ MPVPS feels the need of an Industry Standard Web GIS application to be deployed with facility to distribute spatial data maintained in various formats using intranet and internet. The Web GIS application needs to be customized from the user perspective as well as for easy navigation.

• SeMT is preparing the RFP to be issued to the shortlisted vendors from the EOI response (sent for departmental review)
