MAP_IT has appointed consultants from Wipro Consulting Services for assisting department in implementation of NeGP under State e-Governance Mission Team. SeMT is acting as a central state level team coordinating with various departmental project teams.

State e-Governance Mission Team (SeMT) is providing support to the State Apex committee and PeMT, as an advisory body for providing an overall direction, standardization and consistency for undertaking the ground work, handling the interdependencies, overlaps, conflicts, standards, overarching architecture, security, legal aspects, etc.

The work undertaken by the SeMTs can be summarized as:

• Project Consultancy
• Program Management
• Project Implementation and Post Implementation Support
• Assistance in setting up of Project e-governance Mission Team (PeMTs)
• Handling of day to day SeMT Operations
