MP Tourism

MPSTDC desires for leveraging IT efficiently for meeting the objectives and business needs of MP Tourism. MPSTDC has been deploying various IT applications for meeting its business objectives. A number of applications have been developed and are currently being used. These stand alone business applications lacks synergy obstructing workflow resulting in inefficiencies. There is growing rea;lization among corporation staff that there is of seamless integration between all such IT applications software.

MPSTDC also wants a unified portal for accessing all the information and services related to tourism in MP to be developed. The new portal should be designed for holistic development of Tourism sector in MP. It would also provide information and access to services provided by private sector.

MPSTDC is keen to explore many innovative ways in which IT can be leveraged for improved business processes, improved customer satisfaction, wider marketing reach. Among many possibilities following ideas shall be evaluated/implemented

  • Increased no of Payment Gateways for online booking. (only one gateway is currently available)
  • Loyalty Programs using data gathered from guests who frequently use the services
  • Marketing and Promotion (e.g. targeted mailers, online advertising, SMS promotion etc.)
  • Upgrading Hotel Management System
  • Integration of online taxi booking system with hotel booking system. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of MP Tourism websites
  • Streamlining of Admin/Stores Application
